QUALITY PROCEDURES FOR OUR CUSTOMERS

Quality is the base of our ambitions. Therefore we have developed a tight quality control which is based on the German Classification Act for potatoes and the European Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1508/2001 of 24 July 2001 laying down the quality standards of onions.

Our goods shall be healthy, complete, clean, firm and right sized.

The official quaranteen authorities of the individual country of origin certify us with their phytosanitary certificate that the produce is free of any quaranteen desease. This is regularly controlled by the local phytosanitary and several health authorities.

We also make sure, that we receive the right produce in the country of origin, where we have based our own quality controller, who has a fully equipped lab on sight.

QUALITY PROCEDURE FOR TABLE POTATOES

In order to achieve a quality improvement of table potatoes, we have developed a procedure based on the “German Classification Act”, which is consumer orientated and focused on modern marketing concepts. Size egulations
for table potatoes nowadays play a major role in the day to day business as well as for international trade obligations. They serve the purpose of an easier and improved commerce and the liberalization of trade.

As naturally grown products do not appear in the uniformity of industrial goods, further elucidations of the regulations - especially to the required quality attributes - are necessary.

 

QUALITY PROCEDURE FOR ONIONS

As it also is our interest to improve the quality of onions on the local markets, we voluntarily undergo the European Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1508/2001 of 24 July 2001 laying down the marketing standard for onions.

The application of these standards includes the removement of unsatisfactory products from the market and bring pro-duction into line with consumer requirements.
